Gimmick / Persona:
A haunted matador fused with the spirits of the arena. He treats every match as a ritual, stalking opponents like prey and collecting their “souls” with precise, deadly strikes. Calm, composed, and unnervingly graceful, he embodies the dark elegance of bullfighting with a supernatural twist.
Catchphrase:
“Step into my arena … and surrender your soul”

Lucha libre base with agile aerial maneuvers
Precision strikes emphasizing timing and rhythm
Uses cape as both distraction and weapon
Psychological manipulation: stalks, taunts, and isolates opponents.
Finishing Move:
Phantom Cornada - The opponent is dropped to one knee. Santiago charges forward and drives a brutal running knee strike into their face, mimicking the matador’s fatal thrust into the heart of the bull. ( Busaiku Knee) He often kneels beside the fallen opponent afterward, head bowed, as though delivering last rites.
Signature Moves:
Cursed Charge – Lures the opponent into running at him, then slips aside with matador grace before leveling them with a vicious kick
Spectral Passada – A sudden dodge into a snap DDT, like a bull running into the sword.
Sinister Muleta – Throws his cape over an opponent’s head, disorienting them before delivering a crushing forearm smash.
Eternal Silence – A suffocating cobra clutch, locked in while he stares coldly into the lights above.
Falling Shadows - A soaring flying headbutt delivered with eerie calm
Taunts/gestures:
Leans casually against the ropes, letting his shadow stretch over an opponent as he observes silently.
Raises one hand, fingers curling slowly toward the opponent, eyes fixed, almost like drawing their soul closer.
Entrance Song Title:
“Echoes of the Arena”
Ring Entrance:
The arena drops to black.
A single bullbell echoes.
Red light spills across the ramp as fog crawls outward, whispers filling the air. A low Spanish guitar growls beneath heavy, hoof-like drums.
From the smoke steps Santiago Del Toro.
He stands still. Head bowed. Cape resting at his side.
He looks up.
His eyes glow.
The crowd recoils as he walks—slow, deliberate, mist trailing behind him like a living shadow. Halfway down the ramp, he stops and twirls the cape once. A massive horned shadow flashes across the ring.
The bell tolls again.
He slides into the ring, rises smoothly, and takes center stage. The music fades to whispers as he spreads his arms, cape flowing.
Backstory:
Santiago was a rising matador prodigy, known for elegance and unmatched skill. During a fateful fight in a centuries-old arena, he was fatally gored by a legendary bull. Instead of dying, Santiago’s soul merged with the dark spirit of the bull and the arena itself, resurrecting him as El Matador de las Almas.
Now, he walks the line between life and death, using the souls of fallen opponents to fuel his terrifying power. Rumor has it that anyone who loses to him in the ring risks having their spirit trapped in his dark mist forever.
