Backstory:
Dr. Eric Vinelle was a promising mind. To him the sciences came about as naturally as breathing or drinking water. And he wished to continue his family's oath to make the world a better place. Or so he thought as one day a mysterious package appeared on his doorstep. A journal with the name of his long deceased great grandfather who had been dismissed from the scientific community at large for being a quack. Wiser minds would've told Eric to burn the journal, but curiosity was too strong.
His world was shattered as experiments were laid bare. And his mind simply unraveled in that instance. Reading from the journal daily making sure that he hadn't read something wrong. It was a way to force an evolutionary step into mankind. It would change the world. The worst thing was no one would believe him. So he would have to force them to believe. And so he began working on his experiments.
