BIOGRAPHY
WHO ARE THEY?
On the surface, Grimskull is just another apocalyptic preacher wandering the lowest level of the wall.
But unlike other would-be religious leaders, he does not speak of power, of tearing down the corruption in Arcadia. Instead, he speaks of servitude, of lowering oneself and enduring pain all to achieve freedom.
ENTRANCE
HIT MY MUSIC!
The opening riff from “End of Me” by Ashes Remain hits the speakers, and Grimskull steps out of the darkness. His purple eyes take in the people, all those he wishes he could reach.
There’s a fire burning inside me
Cold steel calls out my name
Tempted to give in to the rage
Walking down the stairs to the stage, the Preacher keeps his head low until he slides into the ring.
Torn apart by this affliction
Locked up inside myself
This life is much too young to fade.
Kneeling in his corner, Grimskull says a silent prayer before rising to fight.

THE BOTTOM LINE!
In the labyrinth of life, there exists a shapeshifting beast. A beast as mercurial as the shadows at dusk, as eternal as the echoes of time itself. A beast called Transformation. All of us—we are all subjected to its distorted whims, confined
My face is a stark, grinning skull. My story, an etched tableau of suffering—pain that's been lived, endured, embraced. You look at me, Vincent, or at least you point your hollow eye sockets my way, and all you see is
A clamoring crowd fades in the background as Grimskull exits his stage. His people have given him their complete trust. As the Slum God descends into the pits of his domain, his attention is called by a not-uncommon sound. Wailing. But this is not
“Did you feel what I felt?” Grimskull stands on the precipice of a pool. Its still waters are pitch black as he drops a single pebble into it. “The edge of damnation yawning wide, straining to swallow you whole?” The ripples coalesce into
The great crucible of life is nothing more than a forge. In the scalding furnace of existence, we are hammered, crafted, shaped by the ceaseless blows of adversity. We flinch, recoil, shutter under the relentless strike, but the hammer persists, unmoved
Life is an opera. Pain is its unsung aria. So naturally, we, my friends, are mere players in a transcendent performance. Tombstone, you're the impatient audience member, always seeking intermissions, exits, and breaks. You're in a rush to get to what comes
Tombstone, I bid you visualise a solitary pebble striking the calmness of a pristine lake. An insignificant agent birthing ripples to the farthest shore. Now imagine this pebble to be you, making waves in the otherwise placid lives of Arcadians, adding ripples of
My devoted acolytes, From the catacombs of reality, where our souls languish in chains, you have found me. Grimskull - preacher of pain. Like a shepherd, I guide you through landscapes of torment, places where no light shines. Our journey together is etched
Dear Vincent Vision, Your prism, so righteous in its promise of enlightenment, has led you astray. Where marvelous spectra should dance, you have found but a singular tone - the stark crimson of blood. Let me remind you of the true nature
In the darkest days of Arcadia, Grimskull spoke to his disciples in the Slums, proclaiming the wisdom of the kaleidoscope, the mirror of existence, the testament to the transformative power of pain. “Consider Stubbins Doom,” Grimskull said. “His world
Dear Vincent, How paradoxical is our brand of brokenness. Mine was inflicted, yours, self-imposed. In my last defiance against your cult, they melted the skin from my face, violently, without mercy. Left me in darkness, killed me, yet I persisted, I survived. Each beat
There was once a man who dreaded the night. He feared what he believed to be the insidious power of the dark. A force that lurked, whispered, and conspired to consume the light. He made a solemn vow to cast it out,
I remember there once lived a joyful family in my Slums. Their patriarch, a man of strength and honor, guided his family with unwavering dedication. Yet, life was preparing a brutal test. Without warning, a fierce inferno descended, engulfing their home in an
In the ageless forest, there existed two peculiar creatures. The Siren, with a lute in hand, spilled forth a melody that could snatch the soul from man's grasp. His audience, spellbound, sipped on his sweet poison, each note a lullaby serenading them
The quest for the ultimate weapon. From the dawn of time, mankind has waged wars, spilling blood and shattering bones in the name of power, and in the name of a dream. A dream of creating the perfect weapon to dominate all
In the darkest corners of the Slums, where light seldom touches, there once stood two trees. One tree was strong and vibrant, roots deep, its branches reaching towards the heavens. This tree had seen countless storms and had endured the brutality of
Deep within a dark valley, there was a village. An accursed place, for the villagers had a peculiar disability. They could only see one color. It was the color of rage, the color of blood. Red. Their lives were shackled to its relentless hues, with
Ah, the arrow of pain. How cruel and relentless it can be. But the first arrow is not the one that truly strikes fear into the heart. It’s the second. The arrow of emotional reaction. The arrow that can make the difference between life
Darkness and light. Two opposing forces that have existed since the dawn of time. It’s the duality of nature, a balance that must be maintained. But in the beginning, there was only darkness. Uncertainty. Fear. Like a leaderless herd, the people wandered aimlessly. But then a
The journey of the thousand mile stairs begins with a single step. But what of the step after that? Or after that? Ancient proverbs speak of the importance of taking that first step, of beginning the slow climb towards enlightenment. But what of actually
Candy. Sugary sweet little things that bring man and child alike great pleasure. That quick burst of sugar comforts those who partake of it, it binds them to its magic, causing them to crave another. And another. Soon, no pleasure compares to that which
Once I observed a man kneeling beside an insect. It was a butterfly, trying to force its way out of some kind of cocoon. “Fool,” I called out. “Do you not see?” “It needs help!” He exclaimed, a scalpel in hand. “I
I’ve heard the same story from so many people. A shady man in an alley offers you a hit from his stash. Just one toke, that’s all. You immediately feel the potent rush of his chosen drug. It permeates every crevice of your
High above a pit hangs a briefcase. The Briefcase. Inside it: a ticket to the greatest treasure in Arcadia. But it was said that only the bravest and strongest could reach it. So they came to the edge of the chasm, looking up high

Photographs are rare down in the Slums. Light, true light, even more so. But isn’t that what photographers do? Use a flash of light to burn a lasting image onto film? Were the one called Colt Ramsey to come before the Preacher, the
