That’s what they say, it’s brutal, harsh, and the truth of mortality hangs around in the air like a whisper voicing your demise.

The men drawn to it are like machines, they receive an order and execute it to the best of their ability. If they meet their end, there’s another number to take their place.

Men like Cube can survive it through sheer intellect and malice. Men like Mars thrive in it as he proves might makes right. Men like Santiago are cold enough to not have the guilt of murder hang on them like a noose.

No war never changes and that’s why I believe we can beat these guys.

Change is good, rain turns into a rainbow, Winter turns into Spring, a caterpillar turns into a majestic butterfly.

A broken boy from Gary turns into the man you see today.

I’ve seen you two change as well. Newton, you old softie, you were more worried than I was with that pool. The old Newton would actually let me drown. The new you wouldn’t though. You’ve been through a lot and it’s made you a better person.

Care doesn’t make you weak, it makes you do things you weren’t capable of before. That care is something I saw in you before you saw it in yourself. It’s what made me ask to be part of your team because I knew if something was about to happen to me or Pixel, you would do everything in your power to stop it because for some reason maybe even unknown to you, we matter to you and when something matters to you, you protect it at any costs.

If a streak and a championship made you do all those crazy stunts you performed, what would you do for the people in your life?

Soft doesn’t mean fragile, it means flexible and adaptable. It doesn’t mean conquerable, it means able to evolve.

Pixelshift, I don’t need to explain to you the importance of change and growth. If there’s one thing I know about video games, it’s about leveling up. The more experience you gain, the more powerful you become. Every level up is rapid evolution.

Its that way in real life, the harder the battles are, the more experience you get and if life is like a video game, this is a boss fight meant to test us all and we are not a team built to fail tests.

When we win, that xp boost will make you not just ready to fight Cube again but win this time, you almost defeated everyone in one night all by yourself, this time it’s only three guys and you have backup.

War never changes and that’s why the machine will lose.

This isn’t war, its competition. Pure malice and might work on the battlefield. Between the ropes, you have to adapt. It’s constant tension that doesn’t end in one shot. Here, when you can’t change, you can’t bend and all that tension will eventually break you.
