Cometa IV
A las astras!
Miren al cielo (Look to the sky). The stars are our guides, our allies, our unshaken truth. They burn brightly in the dark, unfazed by the darkness below. Just like lucha libre. For generations, the name Cometa has burned bright, passed down through generations. Each of us has carried the with the fire in our hearts. Una llama que nunca se extinguirá (A flame that will never go out). Now, I stand as Cometa IV. This battle royal is my first test. It is the beginning. This is my chance to guide Old School Wrestling through its new chapter.
The rudos believe they control the ring. They rely on deception, power, and underhanded tricks. But they forget one thing: there is something greater than their strength. Hay algo que no pueden ver (There is something they cannot see). Something they cannot fight with power or deceit: the stars. The light that guides us, the purpose that flows through my blood and soul.
In this chaotic battle royal, you’ll hear the crash of bodies and the screams of violence. Pero en medio de todo el caos, habrá claridad (But amidst all the chaos, there will be clarity). While they scramble for dominance, I will stay calm. I will stand strong, like the stars above. I will soar through this battle, my body in constant motion, like a comet streaking through the sky, lighting the way for others to follow.
No seré consumido por su oscuridad (I will not be consumed by their darkness). I will be the light that breaks through it. And when the dust settles, when every challenger has fallen, and the rudos are defeated, there will be one figure standing tall. One shining star: Cometa IV.
Why do I fight? Why enter this battle royal? Es simple (It’s simple). I fight for the honor of lucha libre itself. I fight to protect its heart and soul from those who would tarnish it with corruption. Lucho porque las estrellas lo exigen (I fight because the stars demand it). They demand that I rise, that I carry the name of Cometa higher. And I will.
Rudos, escúchenme bien (Rudos, hear me clearly). This battle will not be won through chaos, destruction, or brute force. It will not be won through anger or greed. It will be won by the one who understands the truth. La verdad es que las estrellas siempre nos observan (The truth is that the stars are always watching us). They guide us, always shining. Constant. Like the stars, I will remain when you fall. I will soar where you stumble, shine brightly where you fade.
You may be numerous. You may be loud. Pero yo seré el que brille más (But I will be the one who shines the brightest). And when the final voice fades, when the last body flies over the top rope, I will take Old School Wrestling where it belongs:
A las astras! (to the stars).
