A Good Cigar

I remember the first time I smoked a cigar.
It was handed to me, already lit, as I stood over the first man I beat into unconsciousness.
I was all of 14 years old, blood soaked knuckles, adrenaline pumping through my veins. I took the cigar and inhaled…deeper than I should have. Feeling the smoke envelope my developing lungs the same way violence had begun to envelope my soul and would continue over time.
This man had done nothing to me, I don’t even remember his name. His beating was a warning to others. His blood spilt as a necessity for a bigger war that was on the horizon for those I had become a soldier for.
Jack Standard you, likewise, have done nothing towards me. Our paths have never crossed. But I will feel your blood flow between my fingers. Because there is a bigger war coming and others need to be properly warned.
I don’t remember what happened when I beat the man. I don’t remember who struck a blow when. I don’t remember what it looked like when his body crumbled to the asphalt of the street we were standing on.
But I remember how it felt, how being in the center of violence would start to always feel for me…it felt like home. It felt like my natural state of being, violent and angry.
I was an angry child before that day, but finally my anger had direction, it had purpose. I was born to hurt others, it has always been my destiny. It feeds my soul the way oxygen and food feed the body.
So I begin my time here in OSW the way I begin any new chapter in my life, by hurting others. By making a statement in blood and agony. Turbo Violence will be a night that many remember. They may not remember what it looked like when I ended Jack Standard’s career as quickly as it began. But they will remember the horror they felt when they bore witness to it. They will remember the terror that crept up their spines as they watched what I am capable of for the first time.
And then all who witnessed this public execution will be left with one question. A question I hope is burned into the minds of all the rest that battle here in OSW.
If this is what he will do to a man who has done nothing to him. Who is going to be stupid enough to learn what he will do to someone standing in his way?
The night when the world will learn one horrible truth about this company moving forward.
When you see red, it’s already over.
