Jason Richards was a mild-mannered high schooler who was out for a night on the town with his friends when a anarchist named Jigsaw set the garage he was in ablaze. A hero named Redwing saved Jason, but at the cost of burns across his whole body. Not to mention that all of his friends died in the fire. When healed enough to leave the hospital, Jason hunted down and killed Jigsaw himself, taking the identity for himself. Jason blamed Redwing and those weak heroes like him for what happened to his friends. Redwing turned Jason back to the light, showing him the error of his ways. After a year in prison, Jason returned to the streets wanting justice. Taking the persona Darkwish, Jason intends to clean up the streets. His way. Following the path that Redwing (now retired) took, Darkwish has made his way to the Temple of OSW.
