Sinners have been branded for their transgressions since the fall of man.

When the Serpent manipulated Adam and Eve into their first sin, the relationship between God and man was torn. They disobeyed, broke the bond and allowed darkness into humanity.

Since then, that darkness has crept its way into our world like a cancer, spreading and growing. It wasn’t long before the first murder took place as Cain killed his brother out of jealousy.

As a result, he was cast away by a God that turned his back on him. Cursed and branded as a sinner with a mark upon his skin we know as the ‘Mark of Cain’. The price paid for sin was suffering and eventually… damnation.

That is the way it had to be.

No redemption for Cain’s soul. So made he his bed, that he layeth in it.

Thousands of years later, the faithful still wage the war against the filth of sin. Light exposes the Mark of Cain upon unworthy souls, branded upon their skin to those that can see.

I see it upon you three – Nigel Powers, Glitter and El Ídolo Perdido. Three sinners, each cursed with their own distinct branding.

The sin of sexual immorality, which Glitter wears with pride, taints him in the eyes of my lord. You have developed your harem, where pleasure and desire are all-encompassing. Addiction thrives when sin is normalised, and you are an addict to sin in all forms. In the shadows, righteous shame dissolves into immorality. Such a lifestyle weakens the moral fibre of humanity.

I hold you accountable for your sin, Glitter.

The sin of indulgence taints Nigel Powers. A life where desire is exaggerated to the point of identity. Powers lives in a world where indulgence is normalised and celebrated. He seeks his indulgence in any way he can get it. There is no space in such a shallow soul for reflection, restraint, or a moral compass.

I bring the consequence you lack for your sin, Powers.

And the mark of the sin of idolatry which has claimed Perdido. An aficionado that worships culture through the silver screen. Your sin is shown in the elevation of your so-called art above meaning, above balance. Your obsession taints reality, filtering it through a screen fabricated into your identity. You don’t appreciate films, you’re dependent on them to the point of sin.

You too will face the mark of your sinful ways, El Ídolo Perdido.

The faithful do not indulge in systematic sin, like you do. We fight against such moral apathy. The light of the Lord has exposed you as sinners, and His will be done. Sinners must pay, through suffering and damnation. It is the only way that remains when the world shuns the Lord’s will.

This week, the war on sin sees the righteous stand over evil. The marks of your sin will be exposed as the consequences of your transgressions come to light. Only by light can the world see the error of its way.
