Imagine you were gifted with the ability to manipulate time and do anything you wanted. Absolutely nothing was off limits.
Some people would go back in time and see famous people in their prime.
Others might revisit a time in their life when they were at their happiest.
And a few might even try to change a couple of things.
But the one thing no-one in their right mind would do, is nothing.
Imagine being able to change the world. Imagine having the power at your fingertips to visit any period of this planet and gather an understanding of what it was like to exist within it. Imagine what you could do if you could manipulate the fabric of time.
Imagine.
I’d go back and see those I’ve loved and lost. I’d travel the endless channel of time searching for those who meant the most to me and I’d dare to spend as much of that time as I possibly could with them. I wouldn’t miss that opportunity.
I’d seize it with both hands.
For just one more moment with those I love, I’d do anything. I’d do anything.
But you know what they say, right? Time is wasted on the living.
And time is definitely wasted on you, Sigil.
At your fingertips you have the power to do anything you want, and you choose not to. You have the time crystal in your possession, and you choose to let that power slip through your fingers. You choose to be ineffectual. You choose to squander a gift that anyone in their right mind would give their entire life to have.
