Three Blind Mice
Three blind mice.
Three blind mice.
See how they run. See how they run.
They all ran after the farmer’s wife, who cut off their tails with a carving knife.
Did you ever see such a sight in your life as three blind mice?
If you’ve ever stepped foot into the ghastly hallows of The Slaughterhouse, you certainly have.
No one goes into that disgusting building not blinded by their desire or by someone else who gouged out their eyes for their own selfish gain.
Everyone that enters those halls could be called a blind mouse.
All are inevitably going to be caught by the vices of that giant trap, including myself.
We’ll all be crushed one day and be discarded so quickly that it will be like we weren’t even here.
A title here and there will be the only trace we leave behind.
Some of us won’t even get that and all the blood, sweat, and tears will be wasted and thrown away with the visceral mess that is our remains.
Yes, we’re all blind mice and until recently, I was as blind as everyone else. My Vaykira brothers allowed me to see the way and my old captain allowed me to see my fate.
Not everyone is so lucky.
When I think of three blind mice, I think of Jet Set Radio, see how they run.
They run from everyone and into everything.
If it wasn’t for their hubris, I’d almost feel bad for them.
Their farmer, Simon, says and like the children they are, they listen and adhere to his every command.
Blinded by what they think they can get from him, they rely on their other senses to get to their destination.
Ether can’t see what they are going after but she sure can taste it. One day she’s going to bite her last bite and get pinched while her last meal is still in her throat.
She’ll unfortunately be destroyed by that classic mouse trap.
Once you trigger it, it’s too late.
Tag won’t be far behind, he’ll smell the sweet perfume of a woman and go as deep in her as she’ll let him. Once he’s inside and ready to pull out of there, it’s too late. She’ll wrap her legs around him and he’s trapped.
Sure, he’ll be caught and released but he’ll get a call nine months from now and be stuck for 18 years paying child support wishing he suffered Ether’s fate.
Lastly, there’s poor Wiz.
He’s going to just drift by in life like he always does but following Simon is only going to get him caught in the same glue trap as his parents.
I actually like you, I don’t want to see you glued up and having to watch the world go by as you suffer the same fate as your parents.
There’s still a chance to see and not go by what Simon says but what the lord says.
The lord gives sight to the blind.
Take the chance to see or your tail won’t be the only thing your farmer’s wife cuts.
