The Rosary

In Promo by Sir Renault

Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee.

Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

The Rosary.

It’s a powerful prayer.

So powerful that they say it can change your life if you pray it.

But many of our fellow believers are intimidated by the sheer length of the rosary, claiming their time is too precious to waste it on that.

They question how many Hail Mary’s it takes to connect to Yahweh and forego it, neglecting their duties.

For just as Yahweh has undying love for us all, mustn’t we reciprocate that love unconditionally?

We must if we wish to be a hero.

Wrestle Heroes II.

It’s a new season for OSW—a new season for me.

A time to put the past behind me and look forward to what may lie ahead on my holy quest.

And what I see on the path before me is an opportunity.

My experiences have taught me that to fully take advantage of an opportunity, one must strike when the iron is hot.

I cast my demons aside at Red Snow when I crucified Phineas Moody, and I’m going to carry that momentum into Wrestle Heroes in hopes of finding the grail I’ve searched so long to obtain.

Only thing is, there’s 18 obstacles that stand in my way now.

Based on those odds, some would say that I need a Hail Mary to overcome the lot of you.

But my faith in Yahweh is enough to provide the strength I need to overcome the odds.

I will say a prayer, though. I’ll say the very prayer that the rest of you non-committals are too afraid to recite.

I’m going to pray the Rosary.

Each bead on the rosary represents every one of you in OSW.

From the purest of souls such as the Generation Kid.

To the darkest, most corrupt spirits like The Impaler.

From my brother and fellow believer Sir Bellator.

To the champion, the king himself: the tormented Israel Grimwolf.

I pray for you all not to give you strength.

Not for you to overcome the odds.

I pray for you all for salvation.

Penance for all the fucked up shit you’ve wrought upon each other over the past seven godforsaken years.

Because OSW needs a hero.

A hero who will journey on that extra mile that no one else will in their quest.

A hero who will uphold his duty to god.

A hero deserving of championship gold.

You see, the Rosary is not a sprint. It’s a marathon, much like Wrestle Heroes.

And if it takes 18 Hail Mary’s, 666 Salve Regina’s, and a Hail Holy Queen to earn a place on the podium so be it.

After I run my fingers over that last bead on my necklace and recite that final prayer, my life will be forever changed.

In the name of the father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirt.

Deus vult.
