Shell

In Dr. Death, Promo by Dr. Death

Imagine being the first responder to the scene of a horrific accident.

The supposed accident was unwitnessed, and you’re forced to see a broken, bloody man, his head scalped to reveal a skull with its fragments scattered around the scene.

His brain was exposed to danger. What was once a fully-functioning human body has now become something that amounts to an insect, crawling around mindlessly.

No one else around, you do what you can in an attempt to fix him. Your medical knowledge is insufficient, however, and there’s nothing you can do to preserve his vital functions.

This man’s shell had been broken, and that breakdown allowed his other, more delicate organs to break as a result.

You see, the skull is merely a shell for the the most vital organ in your body: the brain.

All one must do to gain access to your vitality is to break the shell.

You present yourself as a hardened man, Kpavio.

Wearing a skull over your face and adorning your muscular exterior with dark, intimidating garments you make it your job to protect those who are too delicate to protect themselves.

In your mind, they need you to survive, because without you they would be far too susceptible to the dangers that lurk in the shadows around Arcadia.

So you, too, lurk in those same shadows, biding your time until that danger rears it’s ugly face, and like a first responder you arrive on the scene ready to take action to save whoever it is that’s in need.

But protecting Gemini has been wearing on you, hasn’t it?

No matter how many times you save her from certain danger it seems you’ve come out on the other side with at least a scratch or dent on your shell.

It’s just a matter of time until that shell of yours cracks for good, rendering you incapable of protecting anyone anymore.

You should have adhered to the doctor’s orders instead of involving yourself in my affairs.

I know you breached my medical ward last week to protect that patient of mine who was involved in that horrific accident. It’s a shame that you couldn’t be the first one on the scene to protect them when they needed it the most.

But now that patient is my business, and by proxy that makes you my business as well.

And unfortunately for you, killing is my business at Clash 309.

I’m going to beat you up so badly that you’ll be incapable of protecting anyone anymore.

Ironically, with no one to protecting you, and with no other surgeons to fix you, everyone in Olympus including Gemini will be forced to watch you become a shell of your former self.

This will be no accident, however; it will be premeditated assault when I shatter your skull to pieces.

I’m going to crack that shell of yours and expose you for who you really are, insect.

It’s time for me to do my job.

Now take a deep breath and close your eyes…

See you on the other side, Kpavio.
