Seeing Red Again…

In Damien Wolfe, Promo by Damien Wolfe

Broken, bleeding, and his life in tatters a young man sat in mixture of blood, some he assumed was his own but most was from the bodies that lay before him.

Looking as if torn apart by a pack of wild dogs.

He had heard the voices, and then he saw nothing but red.

I had to comfort that young man.

I had to help him come to terms with what he did in that moment.

Over the years that young man grew into a productive member of society, haunted by that moment where control was stripped away from him.

All the while the voices were still there begging him for his attention.

Every day of his life was fight to keep the threat under control.

I had to help him bury those voices, convince him that he shouldn’t let them drive.

Then he saw the Puppetmaster, a man who let his voices out.

Who let them run wild and unabated.

He heard the cheers for you, he heard the laughter, and jubilation that those puppets elicited.

His jealousy growing because how is it that your voices can be beloved while his are perceived as threat.

Then came the ultimate insult.

A bridge too far even for him.

Someone who had prided himself after years being so composed as he drug the pen across paper, signing his name, and giving his approval to bring Felix’s Funhouse back.

Felix, heed my warning that which he has ran from for weeks…

“The red

Well, it filters through…

So, lay down…

The threat is real…

When his sight goes red again…

He’s seeing red again…

Seeing red again…

This change…

He won’t contain…”

He will see nothing but the red and Felix if you thought The Funhouse’s cancellation was brutal you have no idea what happens when those voices take control.

I did my best for you.

However, you pressed, you mocked, and you derided him.

“You brought us back and we want to have fun with you Felix!

We want to make you feel like the freak you us feel like Mr. Friendly.

We want you to know the pain you caused with one puppet.

One piece of cloth, fashioned to look like a wolf, and dressed in a suit.

You made us into the ass end of every joke you told through that puppet.

You brought this upon yourself the Master Puppeteer has hung himself by his own strings.”

Felix, these last few words that I will share with you are final words before the Pack invades

Nothing personal…

“Personal…

Personal…

We’ll be the king and you’ll be the filth we wash away…

Nothing personal…

Personal…

Personal…

We are the light…

We are the truth…

We are the way…

We are Wolfe’s Pack and you are going to have your final cancellation when we invade at Invasion and take the VHS Championship.

Because Arcadia can’t afford your presence anymore.

Though luck, you know…

Budget cuts, pal.”
