Lithium

In EMM, Promo by El Mariachi Muerte

I’m so happy ’cause today I found my friends
They’re in my head
I’m so ugly, that’s okay, ’cause so are you
Broke our mirrors
Sunday morning is everyday, for all I care
And I’m not scared
Light my candles in a daze
‘Cause I’ve found God.

As one slowly descends into madness, at what point does the mind lose grip on reality?

We call this the tipping point, and to move past this point can be a dangerous road from which there is no return.

The Lonely Man had created an entire reality within his mind, of multiple personalities. Friends, as he called them. And the more his friends became his world, the more removed from reality he became.

His world slowly became the only world.

This was fine, he was happy… Until his friends began to utter dark thoughts, manipulated him into acting in ways he knew were wrong.

He burned things, attacked people, killed.

The worse it became, the more the APD felt the world would be safer without him in it.

And when powerful men decide your fate, reality comes crashing down like a ton of bricks.

His reality was crushed before him, his world torn apart.

Until he stood, noose around his neck in a daze. His solution was final.

I’m so lonely, that’s okay, I shaved my head
And I’m not sad
And just maybe I’m to blame for all I’ve heard
But I’m not sure
I’m so excited, I can’t wait to meet you there
And I don’t care
I’m so horny, that’s okay
My will is good

Your story began with good intent, Felix Foley.

You just wanted to get your message out there. To be the one that the Children of Arcadia loved to watch on their screens. You just wanted to share your story with them.

But they took that chance away from you.

Reality came crashing down, so you created your own.

You too, like the Lonely Man, created your own world inside your head. Your puppets, the very symbols of that reality.

That which has become your voice in the world, is but a symbol of your very own tipping point.

The question remains, Felix… Just how far over that tipping point have you fallen? Far enough that you cannot ever claw your way back to reality?

Does that red light cause your fragile mind to crack?

I like it, I’m not gonna crack
I miss you, I’m not gonna crack
I love you, I’m not gonna crack
I killed you, I’m not gonna crack

Now that you find yourself at the mercy of the APD, it matters not whether you are responsible for the attacks, or Wolfe. What matters is who THEY think are responsible.

I have the lithium to ease your pain, Felix.

The very thing you need to quieten the voices in your head.

To silence them, forever.

The Lonely Man found out, just as you will. The solution to your madness lies at the end of a noose around your neck.

Death is your lithium, Felix Foley.

And Death welcomes you, amigo.
