The Temple sinks into suffocating darkness. Jagged spotlights slash through smoke as sparks crackle overhead. El Hierro emerges alone in a cold white glow and marches slowly, deliberately, unsettlingly. At ringside, he pauses, head cocked, silently scanning the crowd. Fingers scrape across the iron mask — reminding everyone of the prison he wears. He slides under the bottom rope, crawls into the corner, and sits against the turnbuckle, waiting.
