Commitment is the trait of sincere and steadfast fixity of purpose.
It’s an act of binding oneself to a course of action.
When you commit to something or someone it becomes your priority.
Whether you choose to commit to something, such as a friendship or adopting a pet, or are obligated to commit to something, such as a spouse or your child, doing so is considered an act of integrity and as a result is often seen as an outward display of love.
You must be willing to give your time and energy to it and revolve your life around it; otherwise you can’t even label it as a priority to begin with.
For it is a sin to prioritize anything or anyone else above it.
Allow me to ask you a question, Xavier:
Do you believe that you’ve handled your commitments well?
Ever since you chose to pop the question to that Fire Witch of yours, and vowed to remain by her side, through good times and bad, in sickness and in health, you sure seem to have reset your priorities.
And not in a good way.
See, instead of putting Pyre’s safety above all else like the vicious guard dog you once were, you merely follow Simon around like a puppy now.
And you had to watch the woman you supposedly committed to get the holy hell beaten out of her alongside your best friend.
From an outsider’s perspective it looks like your commitment is to do what Simon says. You must really love him with the lengths you’ve gone to show him your commitment.
I wonder how Pyre feels about the man who promised to bind himself to her becoming her mortal enemy’s bitch.
This is where we can help.
Vayikra is going to teach you a lesson about commitment this week. It won’t be an easy one to learn, but by the end of FTW you will be thanking us for the knowledge you’ve acquired.
Sir Bellator, Sir Gable, and I are fully committed to Yahweh and we show Him that He is our priority by obeying His commands and living by His decrees.
For His word is law, and just as you abide by every word Simon says to you, so do we abide by the scripture that guides us to his light everyday permanently.
Just as our actions show, it is our duty to make sinners repent.

You’re a sinner for failing to prioritize your commitment to friendship for The Bad Motherfuckers.
You’re a sinner for failing to prioritize your commitment to love for Pyre.
And you’re a sinner for obeying the orders and decrees of the false prophet over your prior commitments.
You have given my brothers and I purpose, and I am sincere when I say that tonight you, Pyre and Luke Storm are going to repent for your sins.
