Avant Garde

In Colt Ramsey, Promo by Colt Ramsey

Two of the finest artists in Arcadia have come together for the collaboration of a lifetime.

The pair bring their unique skills to the workshop, with aims to make a masterpiece.

Each a master at what they do, they believe the combination of talents will mix into something truly avant garde.

Up goes the canvas onto its easel.

Down go the brushes onto the table beside them.

They take the paints of their choosing, carefully deciding which colors work best for the piece.

There’s a contrast in the warm and cool, all blending together toward the message the artists want to send.

And with every stroke of the brush, a chance to bring that message to life.

At least, until the arguing starts.

It’s all petty at first, but the creative differences start to fester between them as time progresses.

The different methods they have toward their craft eventually reveal their different motives.

They seek to tell beautiful, tragic stories of the impending arrival of death.

But one is far more sinister in how they want to tell the tale.

Much more direct in bringing the tale to life.

The pair find themselves at a crossroads over this, and things get ugly. Brutal. Violent.

And then, life imitates art.

They finally create the masterpiece that tells their story…but it comes at a cost.

Their blood, spilled out onto the canvas for all to witness.

And all because they failed to see eye to eye.

Because they were never in harmony.

That’s what makes Jasper Redgrave and El Mariachi Muerte such a dangerous duo.

On the surface, they have the same goal in mind…the same story to tell.

Death comes for us all in the end, they’d have you believe.

These two set out to make art that expresses the message.

And they pour their heart and soul into crafting their art.

Each with their own unique approach.

Together, they could be remarkable…until the differences start creeping up.

Muerte is a man of song, choosing simply to forewarn his audience that death is coming.

Jasper would much rather deliver on that message by his own hand.

And never should the twain meet.

That’s the sort of disagreement that tears partnerships apart…and these two are far from immune from it.

Because they’ll never see eye to eye, their motives are far too different at their core.

The creative differences are far too noticeable for them to achieve the avant garde.

Especially against ol’ Colt Ramsey and Narcy-doll.

We may have different styles, different methods to get where we’re going…but our motives overlap.

We have the same goal in mind, you see.

We’re in perfect harmony, Narcy and me.

We know what we need to do, to make our message loud and clear.

And that’s gonna be a real problem for the two quarreling artists.

Their blood on the canvas, a testament to their failure to communicate.

The people want a happy ending.

And you’ve got to give the people what they want.
